This is my second Aurora II tablet that I have ordered from ainol-novo.com. I have been happy with both purchases. Once you update the Factory Firmware, the wifi and touchscreen issues are non existent.Star
With this update and the patch update, the tablet works great. Too bad ainol doesn't ship the tablet with this version installed.
The other item that I would like to comment on is the mini USB Keyboard case that is available on this website for under $12 works great. When I purchased my first Aurora II, I ordered the USB keyboard case that was supposed to be compatible, but wasn't due to the full sized USB connector. I tried a couple different USB - A to USB - B adapters, only to find out that I needed an OTG cable adapter. Finally got one and it worked, but very clunky. So, when I ordered my second Aurora II, I ordered (2) of the new style cases. I am happy to report, they both work great. I selected the DHL delivery both times when ordering my Aurora II tablets. Both times the delivery was AMAZINGLY fast. Well worth the price.
If you want a Kindle Fire HD for approx half the price, and you are willing to update your firmware, this is the best deal out there. Ainol-Nova.com is great to deal with. Highly recommended. (Posted on 10/31/12) - brilliant Review by HNM

Had a problem with downloading with one but a quick search on android forums had the answer for me.
They work fine. Xmas presents for 2 kids aged 11 & 10.
Shipping took 1 week.

Very good spec and lovely screen. Fast response and excellent video play. A firmware was poor with many glitches untill I put in third party Android 4.04 rom. Firm should surely provide corrected firmware asap. Otherwise excellent. (Posted on 10/18/12)Star - question? Review by edsel

I own several Android tablets including this one. The key for most including some of the better known American pads is the sofware. Best performance tends to come from thrid party ROMS found at developer sites. Flashing the ROM is very easy and makes the tablet faster and add to its overall performance.Star
To compare: The new Nexus 7 and Kindle are powerhouses but cost more and offer less features. Among them no SD slot. (Posted on 9/22/12)
